Meditation
~White Eagle
To “Listen into silence” one learns to find the place of complete stillness deep, deep within oneself. This place of stillness is not attained through any process of mental concentration or thinking; it is a sweet, simple awareness of the inner master, the true teacher, the true self. Meditation is a practice of increasing spiritual awareness and creating an opening to the heart; an opening to the true nature of one’s being. Meditation is a practice we feel in our heart, not in our mind.
Meditation is a way to increase spiritual awareness. It is not a mental practice, but a practice of the heart; an opening to the nature of one’s true being. The regular practice of meditation awakens and opens the heart-center so that greater love and understanding may grow.
The goal of meditation is to find that place of utter peace, deep, deep within; an at-one-ment or union with God. It is not arrived at through any process of mental concentration; it is a sweet consciousness of the Divine Light of God.
In meditation we learn to be still and listen to that voice within our heart, finding guidance, understanding and inspiration.
The White Eagle way of meditation brings a union between Eastern and Western traditions. Using visualization and inner stillness an ever-growing awareness of the inner life of spirit quietly unfolds.
White Eagle Centers and Groups, both physical and virtual, offer the opportunity to join in open, world-wide Zoom meditations. Check out the “Weekly Zoom Groups” page in our “Outreach” section on this website.
