Good Friday

Good Friday

“The beloved Master Jesus could not be crucified or put to the agony which people imagine. He withdrew from his physical body and could not be harmed through any physical ordeal. This is a great truth that you too have to learn, that the human spirit can be touched neither by pain nor grief nor sorrow. This my children is what will save human kind: not the crucifixion of the Master on the cross, but the crucifixion of the lower self and the release of the glorious son of God in every man and every woman. Love is the saviour of mankind.”

“Salvation is the true word to describe the mission of the Christ spirit; for when the Christ spirit becomes alive in you, you are literally saved from your sins; you live in the light, and bring light into the world. Once the Christ spirit quickens within you, the world can no longer touch you.”

from White Eagle On Festivals & Celebrations

“The story of the crucifixion is also the story of everyone: for in every man and woman the lower nature has to be crucified in order to release the spirit into higher realms, into a heavenly state of consciousness.”

from White Eagle On The Great Spirit

“Now we speak to you about the inner significance of the crucifixion, as an experience which awaits every soul on its path of evolution – in fact an experience which you may even now be passing through in your inner selves, and on the inner plane. For every one of you who undergoes some experience which might be described as crucifixion, some experience involving great pain and soul-anguish, is doing something for the whole world. Everyone who meets such testing’s of the soul in a resolute and tranquil spirit, even as Jesus did, is raising the vibrations of the whole earth.”

“The crucifixion has an even deeper meaning, which applies to you, for it is indicative of the last of the four great initiations which every human soul must undergo on its journey back to God. It is the earth initiation, which is the culmination of man’s life in a physical body, and which was demonstarted to the world in the crucifixion of the Master.”

“We emphasise that all that the Master Jesus was called upon to face during his crucifixion was endured in a spirit of perfect love. This is the very heart of the spiritual meaning of the earth initiation. In the first place Jesus demonstrated his great love for his fellow man in his attitude towards his betrayer, Judas. Jesus drew Judas’ karmic debt to himself so that he might forgive him, return love for hate, and so break a sequence which might have gone on for ages. He was remitting the karma of Judas. In the Garden of Gethsemane when Peter struck the soldier with a sword, Jesus immediately healed the wounded man. This crucifixion of the soul means, in essence, a complete surrender of the lower self. All being surrendered to God, it is then that the soul enters upon the path of mastership.”
